FCP Youth Performance Class (3rd-6th Graders) 3 Week Class Mondays 6pm
(Please note that due to Christmas this will be a 3 week class rather than our usual 4)
Mission: This class will focus on strength, speed, and overall athletic fitness of young athletes. Both boys and girls are welcome to attend this 3 week class. This is not sport specific so any and all athletes ages 9-12 years old are encouraged to join. We feel the "weight room" even at a young age can be a very important place for kids to create good exercise habits. There are obvious advantages of improving your speed and strength in the athletic fields but in a culture where it's hard to get kids active on their own, the younger we can encourage and build confidence through fitness the better. Though this is listed as a strength program, please know that childrens safety is priority number 1 and they will not take part in any dangerous weight training. Instead we will focus more on body weight work, medicine ball movements, sled and band sprint work.
